Payment of supplementary child benefit outside the Netherlands

The Tax Administration pays the supplementary child benefit into your bank account every month. Sometimes the Social Insurance Bank (SVB) pays it instead.

Payment dates

The Tax Administration pays the supplementary child benefit into your bank account every month. You can find the payment dates on their website (information in Dutch).

Attention: If you do not have a Dutch bank account, it might take a little longer until the money is in your account. This depends on your bank.

Bank account number

The Tax Administration will pay the supplementary child benefit into the bank account you provided. You can check what bank account this is on your personal details page on Mijn toeslagen. You need a DigiD username and password to log in. If you don’t already have DigiD, find out how to apply for DigiD from abroad.

Payment by the Social Insurance Bank

If you get any family benefits from your country of residence, this will affect the amount of supplementary child benefit you are entitled to. In this case the Social Insurance Bank (SVB) will pay you the benefit at the end of every quarter.
