If you have planned a new trip to the Netherlands and cannot use your current visa for that trip, you can apply for a new Schengen visa. You can apply for a new visa before your current visa expires.

Applying for a new Schengen visa

You can apply for a new visa before your current one expires. You do not have to cancel your current visa to apply for a new one. Your new visa will become valid when your current one expires. It is important to remember that your total stay in the Schengen area may not exceed 90 days within a 180-day period.
