Did a country in the Schengen Area issue your travel document for refugees or stateless persons? If so, you do not need a visa to travel to the Netherlands. You can stay in the Netherlands for a maximum of 90 days in a 180-day period. You will, however, still need to meet certain requirements.

Travel document issued by a country outside Schengen? You may need a visa

Did a country outside the Schengen Area issue your travel document for refugees or stateless persons? Whether you need a visa depends on your travel document.

Does your travel document say ‘Convention of 28 July 1951’ on it? Depending on which country issued your travel document you may need a visa.

Cyprus or Ireland

If your travel document was issued by Cyprus or Ireland, you can enter the Netherlands without a visa and stay up to 90 days within a 180-day period. But you do need other documents to enter the country.

United Kingdom

If your travel document was issued by the UK and you have a British residence permit, you can enter the Netherlands without a visa and stay up to 90 days within a 180-day period. But you do need your British residence permit to enter the Netherlands. And you need other documents as well.
