I've lost my Schengen visa for the Netherlands. What now?

If your passport with your short-stay visa is lost or stolen, cancel your visa to prevent someone else using it. The other steps you need to take depend on where you are.

How you apply for a new visa depends on which country you are in.

  • In the Netherlands: Submit an application for a new visa to the Immigration and Naturalisation Service (IND). Contact the IND.
  • In another Schengen country: Submit an application for a new visa to the immigration service in the country you are in.
