Changes allowed only for incorrect dates
If you cannot use the visa for the journey for which you applied for it, for example because the dates of the visa do not match the dates on the plane tickets that accompanied your application, send an email to the Dutch embassy or consulate-general as soon as possible.
Please include the following in your email:
- you are unable to make your trip because of incorrect dates on your visa
- the travel itinerary you used when submitting your application
- a copy of the biographical data page of your passport
- a copy of the visa showing the incorrect dates
Other situation
If you want to change the dates of your visa for another reason, for instance because you have planned a new trip to the Netherlands or because you have postponed your trip due to the amount of time needed to process your visa application, this not possible. But you can apply for a new visa.
