Can I apply for a multiple-entry visa for the Netherlands?
You cannot apply for a multiple-entry Schengen visa yourself. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will decide whether you are eligible for a multiple-entry visa. This will depend on a number of factors, including your travel plans.
Fill in your travel plans
To apply for a Schengen visa, you need to fill in an application form. You will need to also fill in your travel plans on the form. If you will enter the Schengen area from a country outside the Schengen area 2 or more times, state this on the form.
Gather the documents that you need
During your visa appointment you will use your documents to show your travel plans. For example, you can show your flight reservations and/or invitations to Schengen countries. This will show that you will be entering the Schengen area more than once.
Decisions on visa applications
Based on your travel plans and your travel history, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs decides when, for how long and for how many journeys your visa is valid. The ministry’s decision complies with EU rules.
