Having Dutch passport photos taken in North Korea

If you are in North Korea and need passport photos that meet the requirements for a Dutch passport, you have 2 options.

1. Take the photo matrix to a photographer

The photo matrix provides an explanation for photographers about the Dutch requirements for passport photos. Download and print the PDF ‘photo matrix model 2020’ in Dutch, English, French or Spanish. Take this with you to the photographer.

2. Go to a photographer in South Korea who is familiar with Dutch requirements

We have no information about photographers in North Korea who are familiar with the Dutch requirements. However, we do have information about photographers in South Korea. If you are already travelling to the embassy/consulate in South Korea to apply for a passport, ID card or visa, you can have your photos taken there.
