New test requirements for entering Hong Kong from the Netherlands
The Netherlands added to the list of high risk countries.
From 21 May onwards, travellers from the Netherlands will be required to present a negative nucleic acid test result upon arrival in Hong Kong. The test needs to be done within 72 hours before the scheduled time of departure at an institution or company that is either ISO 15189 accredited or is recognised or approved by the Dutch government.
We advise you to read carefully all the requirements for Group B specified places on the website of the Hong Kong government before planning your trip.
The list of approved test institutions can be found on this website of the Dutch National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM), under section 8.2.
The Hong Kong authorities have been informed about this by diplomatic note. We recommend you to print this note before travelling to serve as documentary proof, as required by the Hong Kong authorities.
