How much does a visa cost?
When you apply for a visa at a Netherlands embassy or consulate-general, you must pay a fee. You can find the fee here.
If you are applying through an external service provider, you will also pay a service fee.
How long does it take?
In most cases, you’ll be informed within 15 calendar days whether your application has been successful.
Do I need to submit my application in person?
You must always submit your application in person. Children under the age of 18 must also apply in person.
Applying for a visa in this country or region
Applications for Schengen short-stay visa to travel to the Netherlands or Sweden, or visa applications for the Dutch parts of the Caribbean can be submitted at the Visa Application Centre, VFS Global.
Make an appointment via the online appointment system of the Visa Application Center.
Visa for holders of diplomatic or special passports
Schengen short-stay visa applications of holders of Diplomatic and Special passports of the State of Kuwait can be submitted at the Netherlands embassy on Monday and Wednesday by appointment only.
