Applying for a parking permit

Do you live in an area where you have to pay to park your car or other vehicle? You can apply to the municipality for a residents’ parking permit (parkeervergunning voor bewoners). If you have a residents' parking permit, you do not have to pay for parking at the parking meter or via a parking app.

A parking permit is registered to a specified vehicle registration number. If you have more than 1 car or other vehicle, you must apply for a separate parking permit for each vehicle.

Here is some information from your municipality.

Parking permit residents parking zone

Parking zones have been set up in the residential areas of Dirksland, Goedereede and Middelharnis. Residents who, according to the Personal Records Database, live within one of these parking zones (or who can demonstrate that they are going to live there) and who own or hold a car, can apply for a parking permit.

Description

Parking permits for residents are issued on license plate. The advantage of this is that a parking permit does not have to be applied for every year, but only when the car is replaced.

Number of permits per address

A maximum of two parking permits can be issued per address for the zones in Dirksland and Middelharnis, and a maximum of one permit per address for the parking zone in Goedereede.

The following documents must be attached to your application:

  • Copy of valid ID of applicant;
  • Copy of the rental or purchase contract of the house or another piece of evidence with which you can prove that you will be living within one of the parking zones of Middelharnis or Dirksland;
  • Copy of registration certificate if it concerns your own car, or
    copy of rental or lease contract if it concerns a rental or lease car, or
    employer's statement if it concerns a company car.

If your application is to replace an existing permit, you must return the previously issued parking card to us as soon as possible after receipt of the new permit.

You can apply for the parking permit(s) residents (or their replacement) online! You must then be able to log in with your DigiD and be able to pay the costs owed via internet banking (iDeal).

Would you rather submit your request at the counter of the Customer Contact Center? Then make an appointment first!
