Applying for an Attestatie de vita (Certificate of life) in the Netherlands

You can apply for an Attestatie de vita  (certificate of life) from the municipality where you live and are registered. You can only make the application yourself. Someone else cannot do it for you.

To apply for an attestation de vita, make an appointment at the town hall. Please bring a valid ID with you to the appointment.

A certificate of life costs: € 15

You will receive the certificate immediately.
