Announcement: New Netherlands Honorary Consul in Christchurch
It is a great pleasure to introduce you to our new Honorary Consul of the South Island, Geordie Hooft.
Geordie is a long time Christchurch citizen with Dutch heritage and after working many years for international accounting firms he has just started his own consultancy 'Hooft Consultancy Ltd'. Geordie is the Chair of Cashmere High School, Chair of Canterbury Education Services Ltd, and Deputy Chair of the Bone Marrow Cancer Trust. Geordie also chairs the Canterbury branch of the New Zealand Institute of Directors.
"The role of Honorary Consul for the Kingdom of the Netherlands reflects my Dutch heritage, as my Amsterdam-born parents emigrated to New Zealand a few years before I was born."
We are delighted to have Geordie on board and are looking forward to our collaboration.
