Singapore International Water Week 2021: The Netherlands Participation

The Singapore International Water Week (SIWW) is back! 

The SIWW is a global premier platform to share and co-create innovative water solutions. The biennial event gathers stakeholders from the global water industry to share best practices, showcase the latest technologies and tap business opportunities. SIWW is part of the strategic programme of the Singapore Government to grow the water industry and develop water technologies.

This years' SIWW will be fully virtual and held from 21 June to 2 July 2021. It will consist of two different parts: SIWW Spotlight and SIWW Online, and as usual, many Dutch companies and specialists will be involved.

SIWW 2021 Spotlight (21 June)

SIWW 2021 Spotlight is a one-day virtual Summit, for water leaders in governments, utilities, academia and industry to discuss emerging challenges such as climate change and the pandemic, and to provide insights into how innovation and collaboration are key enablers towards sustainable outcomes. It is co-located with World Cities Summit. Mr Ahmed Aboutaleb, Mayor of the City of Rotterdam, will be one of the speakers at this event.

SIWW 2021 Online (22 June to 2 July)

SIWW 2021 Online will be a two-week virtual event to allow global leaders, experts and practitioners to connect and learn from each other. It will feature close to 100 key notes, thematic webinars, technology showcases, workshops on best practices and solutions spanning the urban water cycle and a virtual expo with >150 exhibitors with the latest cutting-edge solutions and technologies, product showcasing, knowledge sharing, learning and exchange.

The Netherlands Participation in the SIWW 2021 Online is supported by the Netherlands Embassy, The Netherlands Water Partnership (NWP – Dutch Sector Body for Water) the Singapore Netherlands Water House (SNWH) of the ADB Dutch Chamber and the Dutch Consortium for Circular Economy - PIB Recirc.

Adaptation in South East Asian Cities (30 June, 9-10pm (GMT+8)): Introduction by Mr Henk Ovink, Special Envoy International Water Affairs.

Towards integrated zero waste solutions for a circular economy (1 July, 4-5pm (GMT+8))

Virtual Booth Netherlands Pavilion

Hosted by the NWP, the Embassy and the Water Alliance.

Alongside the pavilion are individual virtual booths of: Royal Haskoning, BAM infrastructure/Delta Marine Consultants, Deltares, City of Rotterdam, Paques Asia Pacific, Royal Eijkelkamp and more (up to date at the point of writing).
