Applying for a passport or ID card in Auckland (New Zealand) on 6 and 7 October 2020

The consular team from the Dutch embassy in Wellington will be visiting Auckland on 6 and 7 October 2020. You will be able to apply for a Dutch passport or ID card and activate your DigiD.


The consular session will take place in:

Making an appointment

Make an appointment for a passport application use our online appointment system.

  • Choose the category ‘Travel document at a location other than the embassy’.
  • Make a separate appointment for each person.

If you would like to apply for the DigiD activation-code, you can come in without an appointment between 11:00 am and 03:00 pm. Check on the page DigiD for Dutch nationals living abroad what you need to do.

If you get the notification ‘no time slots available’, this means the maximum number of appointments has been reached.

Required documents

Create a personal checklist for each person on the ‘Applying for a passport or ID card if you live in New Zealand’ page. The checklist will tell you which documents you need to bring to the appointment.


You'll need to pay when you submit your application. Payment can be made by Eftpos, Mastercard or Visa.
