Consular services embassy Bangkok fully resumed on July 13
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in The Hague has decided that from 13 July the consular section of the Dutch embassy in Bangkok will open again for all services. For a complete overview of products and services, see the living and working in Thailand webpage. You can go to the embassy after you have made an appointment via the online appointment system.
Travel documents (passports and laissez-passers); applicants can file their application again in the usual way.
As of July 1, a new European border policy is valid, whereby the inhabitants of 15 countries, including Thailand, will regain access to Europe. This replaces the previous general entry ban that was valid from mid-March. Visa applications can be submitted again to the external service provider VFS.
Civic integration exam
Civic integration exam can be taken again.
All legalisations are issued regularly.
All consular statements are processed again. Pay attention; a new procedure applies to the declaration of marital status in Thailand and the declaration of residence in Thailand. These can only be applied for digitally.
DigiD activation code is issued again in the usual way.
You are requested not to come to the embassy if you have a fever or other flu-like symptoms. Your temperature will be measured on arrival and if it is 37.5 degrees Celsius or higher you will not be allowed access and you will be requested to make a new appointment. The public space of the embassy has been adapted and there are possibilities to disinfect your hands. You must wear a mask during the entire visit.
