Applying for a passport or ID card in Houston, Texas on March 3 & 4, 2020

The consular team from the Dutch Consulate General in Miami will be visiting Houston on the 3rd and 4th of March 2020, when you will be able to apply for a Dutch passport or ID card.

Making an appointment

Send your application to the Consulate General in Miami before February 20th, 2020. For more information carefully read through these instructions. Include in your package all required documents, the fee and the passport photo for the application session in Houston. Once your documents have been reviewed, you will receive an email stating the time and date of your appointment.

Required documents

Create a personal checklist for each person on the ‘Applying for a passport or ID card if you live in the USA’ page.  Do not include any original documents in your application package, these you will bring to your appointment.


Pay in advance. Prepare a money order with the (total) fee and include this with your documents you will send to the Consulate General in Miami.
