Applying for a passport or ID card in Rio De Janeiro on 3 February 2020

The consular team from the General Consulate of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in São Paulo will be visiting Rio de Janeiro on 3 February, when you will be able to apply for a Dutch passport or ID card.

Making an appointment

Send an email to the General Consulate of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in São Paulo via sao-ca@minbuza.nl. State in your email that you would like to make an appointment for the application session in Rio de Janeiro. You should also state how many people you would like to make an appointment for. You will receive an email stating the time of your appointment.

Required documents

Create a personal checklist for each person on the ‘Applying for a passport or ID card if you live in Brazil’ (in portuguese).  The checklist will tell you which documents you need to bring to the appointment.

Payment

Pay in person when you submit your application. Payment can be made by Mastercard or Visa, or in cash.

Photos
