The Netherlands Consulate General in New York will organize a one-time only Dutch passport application session in the Pittsburgh, PA region, on November 6, 2019.


If this is your first passport renewal after having acquired another nationality, we can only assist you at one of our Dutch missions in Washington, New York, San Francisco or Miami.

Each applicant will be required to appear in person, including children, regardless of age.

Appointments will only be given to those whose applications are approved in advance. To qualify, you must submit the forms and documents mentioned below by e-mail prior to the deadline on November 1, 2019.

Appointment request and pre-approval

To request an appointment every applicant is required to send a complete application in 1 pdf by e-mail to nyc-mva@minbuza.nl by November 1st,  2019. Incomplete applications will not be accepted!


  1. Fill out the application form. The signature on your application form must match the one in your current Dutch passport.

After your request for an appointment has been approved, the Consulate General in New York will send you an e-mail confirmation with a time slot and further instructions.
