EP elections: one week left to send in your ballot

Dutch people in the United Kingdom who are registered as voters in the Netherlands can vote for a Dutch candidate for the European Parliament until 3 pm on 23 May.

Post your vote well in time

Please note: the envelope with your voting pass, ballot paper and copy of your ID document must arrive no later than 3 pm on 23 May at the polling station at the Dutch Embassy in London. It is therefore advisable to post your vote well in time. You can also hand in your ballot paper personally at the Embassy until 23 May 3 pm.

Witness the opening of the envelopes

Embassy staff will start opening the envelopes on Monday 20 May to check the validity of the voting pass and ID document. The envelope within the envelope, which contains the ballot paper, will be opened on Thursday 23 May, when the votes are counted. Monday 20 May to Thursday 23 May from 9 am to 5 pm local time, Dutch nationals are welcome to attend the opening and counting of votes at the Dutch Embassy in London.
