Passport and ID card applications possible at VFS Global in London
Dutch nationals in the United Kingdom who want to renew or apply for a Dutch passport or identity card (ID card) can now do so at the VFS Global office in London. Appointments are possible as of 14 November 2018.
External service provider
VFS Global is an external service provider. VFS Global will send your application to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Netherlands, where it will be processed.
For each application, VFS Global charges an additional standard service fee of GBP 20.30 on top of the normal passport or ID card fee. During the opening period from November 14 until 24, 2018 the standard service fee will not be charged.
You can also visit the VFS Global office in London on Thursday evenings (6 PM to 8.30 PM) or Saturday mornings (8.30 AM to 12.30 PM). VFS Global then charges an additional prime time fee of GBP 25, on top of the normal passport or ID card fee and the standard service fee. Like the standard service fee, the additional prime time fee will not be charged during the opening period from November 14 to 24, 2018.
