Situation in Lombok

On Sunday 5 August 2018, a major earthquake occurred in the north of the Indonesian island of Lombok. This has resulted in deaths and injuries, as well as severe damage to public buildings, houses and roads. An EU helpdesk has been set up for EU citizens at the hall of Lombok International Airport. From 21.30 local time (5 hours ahead of Dutch time) on Monday 6 August, staff from the Dutch embassy in Jakarta will be available at the helpdesk to provide consular assistance.
