7-8 March 2018: Conference on sustainability in Rome

The Dutch, Georgian and German embassy to the Holy See organise, in collaboration with the Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development, the conference ‘Radical Ecological Conversion After Laudato Si’: Discovering the intrinsic Value of all Creatures, Human and Non-human’.

The conference will take place at the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome on 7 and 8 March 2018. Priests, religious, international scientists and professors will come together to exchange ideas about the teachings of Laudato Si’ on the intrinsic worth of all creatures.

During the conference, different panels will address the question how the Church and society can preserve the natural order of the Creation. Through scholarly presentations and discussions, we will explore ways to bring about a radical ecological conversion for both individuals and economic, social and political actors and communities, so as to create a sustainable environment.

For those who wish to attend the conference, please register by writing an email to georgiaholysee@gmail.com that includes your name and affiliation. Registration is possible until 26 February 2018.
