On the occasion of 45 years of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and The Netherlands, the Embassy of the Kingdom of The Netherlands – in cooperation with the Vietnam Journalists’ Association – is organizing the exhibition of the prestigious World Press Photo Exhibition 2018 in Hanoi.

For the first time in 15 years, the World Press Photo Exhibition will come to Vietnam. This is a world-famous exhibition of the best and most memorable press photographs from around the globe. Already visiting >90 major cities and attracting millions of visitors around the world annually, now it will also be accessible for the people of Vietnam.

About the World Press Photo Foundation

The World Press Photo Foundation is a global platform connecting professionals and audiences through trustworthy visual journalism and storytelling. It was founded in 1955 when a group of Dutch photographers organized a contest (“World Press Photo”) to expose their work to an international audience. Since then the contest has grown into the world’s most prestigious photography competition, reaching millions of people every year. The World Press Photo Foundation is a creative, independent, nonprofit organization, based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
