Applying for support by your municipality for reintegration into the labour market

Have you been out of work for a long time? Do you want to start working again? Your municipality can support you for your return to work. This is known as reintegration (re-integratie).

If you receive benefits from your municipality, this municipality will help you find a job. This support is provided in the form of training, work or guidance (in Dutch).

You cannot refuse the municipality’s support. If you do, the municipality may lower your benefits.

This is how it works for you

Here is some information from your municipality.

Work Support

Sometimes situations occur in which you are unable to find a job and/or need help to stay in work. In some cases, the municipality is able to help you to find work or stay in work. For example, by mediating between you and an employer, by providing a wage subsidy or by providing job coaching.

To be eligible for work support, it must be established that you are unable to earn the minimum wage independently. This is the case if you have a referral to the UWV for a job appointment. In order to get this referral, you must register for an assessment of your suitability for work on the UWV website.

If you get the referral, you can register with the municipality via the 'Apply' (Aanvragen)  button. Then we can look for a solution together.
