Applying for support by your municipality for reintegration into the labour market

Have you been out of work for a long time? Do you want to start working again? Your municipality can support you for your return to work. This is known as reintegration (re-integratie).

If you receive benefits from your municipality, this municipality will help you find a job. This support is provided in the form of training, work or guidance (in Dutch).

You cannot refuse the municipality’s support. If you do, the municipality may lower your benefits.

Applying for support by your municipality for reintegration into the labour market

The municipality helps everyone find work. Whether you have (partial) social security benefits or not. Even if you are not (yet) ready for a paid job, but would like to do something for society, we can help you. You will receive guidance, tips and application training. You can also make use of the vacancies and the municipality's contacts with employment agencies.

How it works

During an intake interview, we look at what support we can offer you in finding work. You will then be assigned your own personal coach.

Together with your coach, you look at what you want and what you can do and how you can increase your chances of finding work. With a wide range of training courses, routes and individual coaching, you will gain insight into your talents and qualities. And how you can best use them for yourself and your future employer.
