Applying for support by your municipality for reintegration into the labour market

Have you been out of work for a long time? Do you want to start working again? Your municipality can support you for your return to work. This is known as reintegration (re-integratie).

If you receive benefits from your municipality, this municipality will help you find a job. This support is provided in the form of training, work or guidance (in Dutch).

You cannot refuse the municipality’s support. If you do, the municipality may lower your benefits.

Municipality of Apeldoorn: Applying for support by your municipality for reintegration into the labour market

A benefit is basically temporary. You are therefore obliged to look for work. Together with your customer manager at the Municipality of Apeldoorn, you give shape to your reintegration. Together, you draw up a reintegration plan in which you make arrangements to increase your chances of finding work. You take individual qualities and possibilities into account. Employer services play an important role in this.

The municipality has several reintegration opportunities:

  • Apprenticeships
In an apprenticeship, you work on your skills in practice. The emphasis is on learning and acquiring skills
  • Day-time activity
Day-time activities give you a work rhythm, structure your day and help you get along with colleagues.
  • Training
Retraining or retraining may be necessary to help you get back to work

Contact one or your customer manager at the municipality of Apeldoorn if you would like more information about the various reintegration options.

If you have children and use the above options, the municipality can support you in arranging childcare.
