In which countries can I receive incapacity benefit from the UWV?

The Netherlands has reciprocal agreements with a number of countries regarding the receipt of incapacity benefit (WIA, WAO and WAZ) paid by the Employee Insurance Agency (UWV). If you move to one of these countries, you can continue to receive your benefit.

If you receive or will soon receive work resumption benefit for persons partially capable of work (WGA benefit) and you move abroad, you may receive less benefit in the country you move to. That’s the case if the cost of living in that country is lower than in the Netherlands.
