Export controls on strategic goods
Strict rules apply if your business deals in military goods, or in goods that could be used for a military purpose. The same applies to businesses that provide technical advice or export certain types of software.
Strict rules on strategic goods
Companies that trade in strategic goods must comply with strict rules. Strategic goods are:
- military goods, like guns
- dual-use goods which could be used for military or non-military purposes, such as night vision devices or chemicals.
Trade in strategic services and software is also subject to the strict rules on strategic goods.
For more information on whether you need a licence to export your goods or services, see government.nl.
