What personal data is recorded in the Personal Records Database?
You can check what personal data of yours is recorded in the Personal Records Database (BRP) on MijnOverheid.nl. If you live outside the Netherlands and are unable to access your data online, you can also do so via an RNI municipality.
Viewing your data online on MijnOverheid.nl
On MijnOverheid.nl (information in Dutch) you can check what personal data of yours is recorded in the BRP. Log in to the website using your DigiD or a recognised means of eID from another European country. Once you have logged in click ‘Identiteit’. You can then click through to your personal data.
If you do not have a DigiD, you can apply for one.
Checking your data via a municipality
If you are not able to view your data online, contact a municipality. If you live outside the Netherlands you can contact any of the 19 RNI municipalities.
If you are not registered or if any of your personal data is incorrect, as a non-resident you can make a change through an RNI municipality.
