Applying by post
In your letter you must explain your situation and why you would like to continue to receive Wajong benefit in another country. Please note: only in certain cases is it possible to continue to receive Wajong benefit abroad. You must therefore clearly explain why you believe you qualify for this.
Send your letter to the Employee Insurance Agency (UWV) at the following address:

After submitting your application
On the basis of your letter the UWV will determine whether you can receive Wajong benefit in the country where you live.
If the UWV informs you that you cannot receive Wajong benefit outside of the Netherlands, you may be entitled to benefit under the Work and Income (Capacity for Work) Act (WIA benefit) from the UWV. You can also consult the benefits organisation in the country you are moving to to find out whether there are other options available for you.
